His interest in rock 'n' roll history goes back many years but his serious research into the topic began in 1987 when he designed a 'History of Rock 'n' Roll' course to teach in adult education programs. Paul's work on the ROCK HISTORY REFERENCE GUIDE began in January of 1992.
Paul is a 1978 graduate of Wake Forest University where he received his B.A. in English. In 1992, Paul was awarded a Masters degree in Applied Communication Theory and Methodology from Cleveland State University.
In addition to continuing his rock history research, Paul recently worked as Director of Production at public radio station KUNM in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has taught 'History of Rock 'n' Roll' courses at the University of New Mexico for both the American Studies Department and the Division of Continuing Education. Currently he is a free lance public radio reporter and producer.
